Wavelength is changing the way lighting is sold to building owners and tenants. The building management and construction industry is compliant with decade old methods that are slow and costly.  Wavelength simplifies the complex and provides its customers a modern experience for their lighting solutions—a process with the aid of experts that is precise and fast. Wavelength is 1) disrupting the market, 2) creating material value for customers, and 3) cutting massive amounts of greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere. We have tremendous pride in our work and do well by doing good. We’ve provided lighting solutions to landmark sporting arenas and schools alike which have had massive community impact. Your Role

Wavelength is looking for a sales leader and a solutions provider.  It is not a requirement to have experience in LED lighting, but it is a requirement to have a thirst for knowledge about the space and hunger to help our customers. This role is for someone who understands how to grow and manage a pipeline and can creatively tackle a big opportunity. 

Your mission is to evangelize our distribution model as a great solution.  It’s a new idea, somewhat complex, and has to be communicated simply and effectively to a wide range of customer types. You will sell solutions to developers, facilities managers, CFOs, lighting designers, contractors, manufacturers, and everything in between. Knowing what Wavelength can offer each of them and communicating the message effectively is essential.  

Required Qualifications 

•      3 years in business development or sales, preferably one with an enterprise or B2B focus

•      Strong written and in-person communication skills

•      Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently

•      Passion for sustainability and cleantech

Preferred Qualifications

•      Managing a CRM platform

•      Managing lead generation

•      Competitive based on experience and track record
